Strategic spatial planning, land use and transport issues and the integration of the two disciplines are subjects I have worked with for well over 20 years as a researcher, consultant, project manager, university lecturer and research coordinator.

My research and development interests have long dealt with intersections

of disciplinary approaches and in the ways in which coordination is made possible.

My academic focus is on concepts such as "city-region", "agonistic space" and "imaginary", as well as concrete issues of collaboration, coordination and spatial planning, especially "informal" and "strategic" planning practices.
